So busy, in fact, we’re just now getting around to introducing our three newest hires: Sara, Megan and Eric. Click the jump to read more about these awesome new additions and how they contribute to our work culture and success as a Columbus search and social marketing firm.
Now, without any further ado, introducing…

Sara Bradley
Junior SEO Copywriter

Sara Bradley, a recent graduate of The Ohio State University and writer for the Lantern, came to Cement as an intern. Her passion for all things interactive and ability to write quality content at the speed of light earned her a position as a Junior SEO Copywriter.

Sara’s also mom to a cute, little man named Jack. Follow her motherly escapades and thoughts on Twitter @sarabeen.

Eric Katz
Lead Developer

Combine killer development skills, a taste for good rock music and a little hair gel, and you have Eric Katz, a developer with lethal coding prowess. Eric is one of Cement’s newest (and definitely our youngest) hire, fresh out of Arizona State University with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from the W.P. Carey School of Business.

Don’t let Eric’s age fool you. He started playing with code while his classmates still thought Spongebob Squarepants was the bee’s knees. We’re excited to have Eric and he can already claim successes like the Lifeline of Ohio mobile website and having the best mohawk in the office.

Megan Drews
Business Director

Every business needs someone to keep the kids in line and the new business flowing. Cement’s other newest hire Megan Drews is that someone and, with her proven track record managing sales for industry big boys like Stirling Ultracold and LeHigh Safety Shoes, we’re lucky to have her.

Megan hails from Athens County, but grew up in the Amish Country, which explains her knack for gardening. And her advanced German speaking skills should come in handy when it comes time to keep everyone on task. Achtung, baby.

Did you see we’re also hiring for an <a

What Matters Now? Creating real solutions, not band aids. The trick is taking the time to make it happen - to find out what matters to you, to your company and to your brand.

Time, it seems, is something slipping away from all of us.

With our calendars constantly booked – far into the future – and our deadlines pressing, it’s easy to lose site of what really matters.

In our case – what matters is making a difference for the audiences our client’s touch. We do it by creating campaigns that move people into action, transform small businesses from being on the brink of bankruptcy to completely and far into the black or by giving a non-profit the tools they need to make the most of their online property.

And we also do it by moving at a very human pace.

We want every client’s social or search marketing campaign to fly but we know it’s a process that can’t be rushed. Building the foundation of your interactive marketing campaigns through search and social marketing takes an investment of time, resources and yes – dollars.

It seems ironic, doesn’t it? That social media – something so fast – would take so much time.

But unless you have one of the few instant viral sensations on your hands, building a fan base on Facebook and a following on Twitter take time. And not just weeks, but months. Building relationships is something you can not rush – not as a person and not as a brand.

And even though we’re constantly attached to our iPhones, our Twitter and our Facebook – we love to put it all away, turn it all off and just relax. Life is just so much better that way and so are our campaigns.

What will matter to you in 2010?

Find stellar advice on finding your own path in this world that is moving way too fast in Seth Godin’s new and entirely free eBook – <a
