The contest generated 50 qualified applicants in a week’s time and saw such great success through wall post word-of-mouth spreading alone; no Facebook advertising necessary.

The Best Bean Won social media contest asked entrants to submit a Facebook wall post, photo or video for their chance to win a year’s worth of coffee or grinder. Daily winners were also drawn for the beverage of their choice from any Cup o’ Joe location. To enter fans simply had to tell Cup o’ Joe why they love their coffee.
