The car and auto donation game is highly competitive. With pay per click rates at $50 and above, PPC was not a viable option for our non-profit client, the Volunteers of America of Greater Ohio. Instead, we focused solely on organic search engine optimization (SEO) when our relationship began in 2011.
Thanks to Google’s Panda and Penguin updates, our competitor’s rankings dropped and ours increased. Why? Because Cement Marketing only practices “White Hat” SEO. Essentially– we don’t cheat. - Has seen a 99% increase in organic search traffic (up from 38,489 organic search visits per year to 76,925 organic search visits per year). If they were paying for these clicks through PPC, the cost would be $1,921,800.00 annually. Because they have invested over the long run in organic SEO, the cost remains to be our monthly retainer rate – no where near that figure.
